Solchemia

Fee-for-Service (FFS)

Flexible, targeted and transparent collaborations

The FFS collaboration model is designed to support specific stages or challenges in chemical development. Whether it’s the synthesis of a custom compound, process optimization, or analytical support, our approach is agile, transparent, and results-oriented.

We work with clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnological, cosmetic, and agrochemical sectors. Each project is individually assessed to provide a tailored technical and financial proposal, including scope, deadlines, and deliverables. This ensures complete alignment between our capabilities and the client’s needs from day one.

Our team of chemists brings deep experience in organic synthesis and process chemistry, combining scientific rigor with industry insight to deliver scalable and reproducible results under strict quality and confidentiality protocols.

OUR QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY STANDARDS

  • Pay only for completed work.
  • Strict control of quality and timelines.
  • Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) with real-time access for clients, updated daily.
  • Full access to analytical data (NMR, LC-MS, IR, etc.) throughout the collaboration.
  • Minimum 95% purity guaranteed for synthesized compounds, with higher thresholds if needed.
  • Proper storage and shipment of compounds following quality and regulatory standards.
  • Clear, proactive, and consistent communication with our Project Leaders.
  • Final technical report available at the end of each collaboration phase (upon request).

FFS is ideal for custom synthesis, route screening, scale-up trials, or any one-time or short-term task where specialized chemical knowledge is needed.

Each project is evaluated individually. You will receive a transparent quote outlining the cost of each requested service, with no hidden fees.

Yes. We use ELNs accessible to the client, and we provide updates throughout the collaboration to ensure full visibility.

Absolutely. Many of our clients begin with FFS and later migrate to Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) collaboration or custom agreements as their needs grow.
